Artist Bio • Linda Bush aka Fly (mixed-media artist)

Linda Bush is a mixed-media artist who began her artistic journey in 2012 learning mosaic art. That experience created a passion; she has since added acrylics, alcohol inks, resin, and quilling, often combining the different media. Linda enjoys using unusual and interesting materials in her work. Wire, rocks, old jewelry, hardware; just about anything can inspire her to make a specific piece. She prefers abstract art, allowing her creativity to roam freely. All of her work is signed as “Fly.” As a former hot air balloon pilot this has been her long-standing nickname and she claims that Fly has the talent, not Linda. 

Born and raised in California, she moved to Hot Springs in 2005 and loves her life in this historic town. She is a member of the Traditional Art Guild (TAG). She participates in Art Springs (an annual event of Art in the Park) as well as Hot Springs Gallery Walk (the first Friday of every month). Her artwork can be found in Collective Arts Gallery in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
